Posted by Lily Bruns on May 24, 2017 4:30:00 PM

Allegory was honored to receive the award for Best Litigation Solution at the inaugural alt.legal Innovation Awards last year. Our Founder and CEO, Alma Asay, sat down with legal tech writer Monica Bay of Above the Law and Stanford CodeX to discuss Allegory's litigation management tools and the story of our startup.

Q: What problem does your startup address, and how?

A: "Allegory addresses the problem of litigators not having the information they need at their fingertips—when and how they need it—in order to most effectively represent their clients. Allegory interconnects all the key pieces of a litigation, so information is available to litigation teams—in any way they might need it—on a moment’s notice."

Alma Asay Featured in Huffington Post Interview

Posted by Lily Bruns on Apr 20, 2017 2:03:03 PM

Allegory Founder and CEO, Alma Asay, shares her story and insights with Laura Emily Dunn in an interview for Huffington Post.

Running a startup in the competitive worlds of legal and tech has taught Asay resilience. Her advice to other founders?

"Expect the unexpected. Sometimes, it’s good, like the out-of-the-blue e-mail from someone you met two years before who absolutely must have Allegory by tomorrow. Sometimes, it’s bad, like the developer who gives notice without warning, just when everything seemed to be taking off. There is no such thing as predictable when building a business, so the best attitude is to expect the unexpected and realize that no one thing is going to make or break your success."
